FAQ
What is Palmory?
Palmory is a mobile viewer for Markdown notes, HTML artifacts, and related files hosted in GitHub repositories. It is designed for reading and searching knowledge vaults on mobile while the current release does not edit, commit, or push repository files.
Is Palmory affiliated with GitHub?
No. Palmory is an independent app by GAVRRI and is not affiliated with GitHub, Inc. GitHub is used as a content source selected by the user.
Does Palmory edit or upload repository files?
Not in the current release. Palmory currently focuses on viewing and search, and does not edit, commit, push, merge, or resolve conflicts in your repositories.
Where is my GitHub token stored?
Your GitHub token is stored locally in the device secure storage. Palmory is not designed to send the token or repository contents to GAVRRI servers.
Which permissions should I use?
For the first release, use the minimum GitHub fine-grained personal access token permissions required to read the repositories you choose, such as read access to repository contents for selected repositories.
Privacy and Data
The current release of Palmory is designed without ads, tracking, paid features, or a GAVRRI-operated backend. GitHub tokens and repository caches are stored locally on your device.
