Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 28, 2026

Palmory (the "App") is a mobile viewer for Markdown notes, HTML artifacts, and related files hosted in GitHub repositories. GAVRRI (the "Provider") respects your privacy and handles information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Palmory is an independent app and is not affiliated with GitHub, Inc. GitHub-hosted content and GitHub personal access tokens are handled according to your GitHub account settings and GitHub's own terms and policies.

1. Basic Policy

Palmory is designed to work without a GAVRRI-operated backend. The App connects directly from your device to GitHub using the credentials you provide, stores those credentials in local secure storage on your device, and keeps repository indexes and cached content locally on your device for reading and search.

2. Information Processed by the App

The App may process the following information on your device.

  • GitHub access token: A token you enter to read repository content. The token is stored in the device's secure storage and is used only to request repository data from GitHub.
  • Repository configuration: Owner, repository, branch, and root path settings needed to display your library.
  • Repository content and metadata: File paths, folder structure, Markdown text, HTML text, PDF metadata, titles, links, search indexes, and read state cached locally for viewing and search.
  • App settings: Display preferences, sort settings, cache state, and other local preferences.

3. Information Sent to the Provider

Palmory is not designed to send your GitHub token, repository contents, Markdown notes, HTML artifacts, search queries, cache, or reading history to GAVRRI servers.

If future versions add crash reporting, analytics, cloud sync, GitHub OAuth, AI summarization, server relay, subscriptions, or any other server-side feature, this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before release.

4. Third-Party Services

  • GitHub, Inc.: Repository API access and hosted content retrieval. Your use of GitHub is subject to GitHub's terms and privacy policy. (GitHub Privacy Statement)
  • Apple Inc.: App distribution, App Store review, device services, and any diagnostics provided by Apple. (Apple Privacy Policy)

5. Advertising, Tracking, and Payments

The current release of Palmory does not include advertising, third-party tracking, or paid features. If any of these are added in a future version, this Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.

6. Local Storage and Deletion

Your GitHub token, repository settings, local index, cache, and read state are stored on your device. You can remove them through the App's settings where available, by clearing app data, or by deleting the App from your device.

7. Children

Palmory is not directed to children. If you are under the age at which you may use online services independently in your jurisdiction, please use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as necessary. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where required, in the App Store disclosures.
